Backed by three players with double-digit scoring, the Air Force Academy women’s volleyball team continued its perfection against Navy, with a 3-1 victory in the final match of the All-Armed Forces Tournament on Sept. 11 here.

After dropping the first game by a narrow 30-28 margin, the Falcons stormed back to take the next three games (30-22, 30-25, 30-24) and the match win.

With the victory, Air Force moves to an unblemished 8-0 all-time against its service academy rivals from Annapolis, while head coach Penny Lucas-White collected her fifth win in as many matches over the Navy. Air Force also took home the tournament title, after defeating Army 3-2 Sept. 12.

The Falcons play again Sept. 14 against the University of Northern Colorado in the first game of the home season.
