Airman dies supporting OIF Published Sept. 8, 2004 WASHINGTON (AFPN) -- Department of Defense officials announced Sept. 8 the death of an Airman who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.Capt. John J. Boria, 29, of Broken Arrow, Okla., died Sept. 6 from injuries he received in an all-terrain vehicle accident in Doha, Qatar. The 1998 Air Force Academy graduate was a flight scheduler and KC-135 Stratotanker pilot. He was assigned to the 911th Air Refueling Squadron at Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D., since March 2000.
