Cadet candidates punished for inappropriate behavior Published Aug. 30, 2004 U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AFPN) -- Administrative punishment was given to six of the seven cadet candidates who were disenrolled following the inappropriate exotic dancing incident at the academy preparatory school on July 31. They have also been separated from the Air Force. Disciplinary action is pending on the seventh cadet candidate. The total number of cadet candidates involved has risen to 32, as eight more cadet candidates have voluntarily come forward and admitted they attended the incident, which occurred in a dayroom of a dormitory.Specifics on the administrative punishments given are not releasable. Administrative punishment can range from a verbal counseling to a letter of reprimand. The cases of the remaining cadet candidates are being reviewed to determine appropriate action.
