Retroactive reimbursement available for R&R leave Published July 19, 2004 WASHINGTON (AFPN) -- Servicemembers who traveled on rest and recuperation leave while deployed supporting operations Enduring Freedom or Iraqi Freedom between Sept. 25 and Dec. 18, may be eligible for reimbursement of airline costs. Reimbursement for airline costs is retroactive for those people who paid for commercial airline tickets from the port they flew into from overseas, such as Baltimore-Washington International Airport, to their final leave destination.
