Airman beats odds, wins major contest prize Published July 13, 2004 EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska (AFPN) -- Airman 1st Class Robert Lewis is one in 11 million. Actually, he is one in 11,161,492. Those were the odds he overcame to win one of the major prizes in Burger King’s Spider-Man 2 contest. It was at the Burger King here that Airman Lewis found out he had won a trip for four to Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla.Airman Lewis, who is assigned to the base’s 354th Maintenance Squadron, said he already knows who is going to Florida with him and his wife. “I’m taking my brother and a friend,” he said. “We are always glad to hear when our customers win one of our name-brand fast-food contests,” said Richard Sheff, Army and Air Force Exchange Services vice president of food and theater. “We work hard to offer dining experiences that are consistent with restaurants in (the continental United States), right down to the contests a servicemember would find at home.”
