National Chemistry Olympiad Study Camp at academy Published June 18, 2004 U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AFPN) -- Twenty high-school chemistry students from across the nation are here competing in the two-week U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad Study Camp.The top four students in the competition will represent the United States at the 36th International Chemistry Olympiad in Kiel, Germany, from July 18 to 27.The students are graded on 60-percent theory and 40-percent lab work. The international host in Germany provides a set of 40 problems covering bio, organic, inorganic, analytical and physical chemistry. The students take exams and complete lab practicals.
