Air Force announces aviation resource management awards

Air Force officials recently announced the winners of the 2003 Outstanding Air Force Aviation Resource Management of the Year Awards.

The 2003 winners are:

-- Headquarters Aviation Resource Management of the Year: Master Sgt. Andrea Wilcox from Air Mobility Command at Scott Air Force Base, Ill.

-- Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year: Master Sgt. Todd Wheeler from the 470th Air Base Squadron at Geilenkirchen AB, Germany.

-- Civilian Supervisor of the Year: Robert Coco from the 419th Flight Test Squadron at Edwards AFB, Calif.

-- NCO of the Year: Tech. Sgt. Kimberly Armstrong from the 961st Airborne Air Control Squadron at Kadena AB, Japan.

-- Airman of the Year: Senior Airman Alberta Mendoza from the 17th Special Operations Squadron at Kadena AB.

-- Civilian Journeyman/Technician of the Year: Juanita Mouton from the 15th Operations Support Squadron at Hickam AFB, Hawaii.

-- Instructor of the Year: Staff Sgt. Laurie Sewell from the Air Force Mobility Operations School at Fort Dix, N.J.

-- Air Reserve Component Senior NCO of the Year: Senior Master Sgt. Rose Gamble from the 927th OSS at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Mich.

-- Air Reserve Component NCO of the Year: Tech. Sgt. Susan Wilkerson from the 93rd Bomb Squadron at Barksdale AFB, La.

-- Air Reserve Component Civilian Journeyman/Technician of the Year: April Meeks from the 482nd Operations Group at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla.
