Airman dies in mortar attack Published April 12, 2004 BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq (AFPN) -- Department of Defense officials have announced the name of an Airman who died following a mortar attack here April 10.Airman 1st Class Antoine J. Holt, 20, of Kennesaw, Ga., died as a result of injuries sustained when his tent was hit by a mortar round. He was assigned to the 603rd Air Control Squadron at Aviano Air Base, Italy.Two unidentified Airmen were also injured during the attack. One Airman is in serious condition at the Army Combat Support Hospital, and the other was treated and released.
