Officials announce youth Bowl-by-Mail winners

Air Force Services Agency officials here announced the winners of the 2004 Air Force Bowl-by-Mail event.

More than 2,400 students from 64 bases bowled a series of games at their installations and mailed the results to their respective major command. The Air Force winners were selected from the highest scores of the command bowlers.

The first-place Air Force-wide winners of the various age divisions and categories are listed below. Each winner will receive a trophy, which will be mailed to the base youth program.

-- High Game, male age 5 to 8: Tristan Yanez from Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., with a score of 187.

-- High Game, female age 5 to 8: Persephone Schexnayder from Keesler AFB with a score of 179.

-- High Series, male age 5 to 8: Austin Hewlett from Pope AFB, N.C., with a score of 499.

-- High Series, female age 5 to 8: Persephone Schexnayder with a score of 452.

-- High Game, male age 9 to 11: Tyler Hall from F.E. Warren AFB, Wyo., with a score of 187.

-- High Game, female age 9 to 11: Erica Evans from Eglin AFB, Fla., with a score of 180.

-- High Series, male age 9 to 11: Jake Schmehl from Fairchild AFB, Wash., with a score of 474.

-- High Series, female age 9 to11: Erica Evans with a score of 469.

-- High Game, male age 12 to 14: Kevin Sobieski from Langley AFB, Va., with a score of 228.

-- High Game, female age 12 to 14: Lacey Clawson from Minot AFB, N.D., with a score of 201.

-- High Series, male age 12 to14: Nick Jones from Hanscom AFB, Mass., with a score of 625.

-- High Series, female age 12 to14: Kelly Long from Tinker AFB, Okla., with a score of 545.

-- High Game, male age 15 to 18: Trey McTaggart from Eglin AFB with a score of 268.

-- High Game, female age 15 to 18: Brittany Smith from Fairchild AFB with a score of 233.

-- High Series, male age 15 to18: Trey McTaggart with a score of 683.

-- High Series, female age 15 to18: Julie Myhre from Eglin AFB with a score of 563.
