Modeling, simulation agency names best performers

The Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation recognized its best performers for 2003 during its yearly conference here Feb. 24 to 26.

Best performers were recognized in four categories as either teams or individuals. Winners included:

-- Acquisition Category: The Simulation and Analysis Facility Joint Unmanned Combat Air System Simulation Team from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The team includes Richard Graeff, Marc Pitarys, Tammy Logan, Timothy Menke, Thomas Gucwa, David Prater, Terry Smith, Lloyd Slonaker, Joseph Gagarin, Aurzelia Watson, Tonya Mack, Darrell Barker, Randyll Levine, Doug Hodson and Capt. Ryan Colburn.

-- Cross Functional Category: The Air and Space Natural Environment Modeling and Simulation Executive Agent at Air Force Combat Climatology Center in Asheville, N.C. The team includes Maj. Mark Schrader, Capt. Kenneth Cloys and Tom Elio.

-- Analysis Category: Adam Clark from Office of Aerospace Studies at Kirtland AFB, N.M.
