Motorglider lands with ‘wheels up’ Published Nov. 19, 2003 U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AFPN) -- An Air Force Academy TG-14 motorglider landed with its landing gear up at Peterson Air Force, Colo., on Nov. 19. Two officers were on board. Neither was injured.The officers were flying the motorglider on a training mission. The TG-14 Super Ximango has two seats and is used for introductory glider training and cross-country soaring training.
