Airman faces court-martial

An airman here faces a special court-martial on several charges of violating the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Airman Brent Mann, of the 10th Communications Squadron, was charged Oct. 2 with two counts of violating Article 92 of the UCMJ for failure to obey a lawful order or regulation. The first charge was for providing alcoholic beverages to a minor, and the second was for disobeying an order to either register his vehicle on base or remove his vehicle from base.

Mann was also charged with three counts of violating Article 134, for unlawful acts. The first two charges were for engaging in group sex in an enlisted dormitory room and having sex with a woman who was not his wife. The final count charges Mann with writing bad checks on three separate occasions.

A court-martial date has not been finalized.
