U.S. aircraft return to Incirlik

U.S. officials are sending four KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft and six aircrews here to provide air-refueling support for operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Aircraft and people began arriving Aug. 19 and should be in place by Aug. 23.

The first aircraft and aircrew are from the Air National Guard’s 121st Air Refueling Wing at Rickenbacker International Airport, Ohio. Aircraft from various Guard units will rotate in and out every 30 days, and aircrews will stay for 15 days.
