Cadet court-martialed for cocaine use

Cadet 1st Class Seth S. M. Tuatoo was sentenced by general court-martial Aug. 6 to 90 days confinement and dismissal from the Air Force, after pleading guilty to one count of illegal use of cocaine.

Illegal use of cocaine is in violation of Article 112a of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

The maximum punishments Tuatoo, a senior, faced included five years confinement, dismissal and total forfeiture of all pay and allowances. Tuatoo entered an agreement to plead guilty to the charge and assist with other investigations.

The case will be reviewed by Lt. Gen. John Rosa, the academy superintendent and general court-martial convening authority.
