Reservist dies supporting OEF Published July 24, 2003 WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio (AFPN) -- Master Sgt. David Scott, a reservist with the 445th Airlift Wing here, died July 20 of natural causes while supporting of Operation Enduring Freedom.Scott, 49, was deployed to the U.S. Embassy in Doha, Qatar, at the time of his death. While serving at the embassy, Scott coordinated and assisted in granting diplomatic clearances for coalition people and aircraft. He was involved in the planning and shipping of coalition equipment for operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Before joining the 445th AW and Air Force Reserve in August 1993, Scott served as an active-duty Marine for 17 years.He leaves behind a wife and daughter at their home in Union, Ohio.
