Air Force names legal award winners

Air Force office of the judge advocate general officials have named the winners of their 2002 annual awards. They are:

-- Albert M. Kuhfeld Award for judge advocate of the year: Maj. James K. Floyd, Air Force Legal Services Agency, Bolling Air Force Base, D.C.

-- Reginald C. Harmon Award for Air Reserve Component judge advocate of the year: Maj. Carl J. Tierney, 459th Airlift Wing, Andrews AFB, Md.

-- James O. Wrightson Award for civilian attorney of the year: Carolyn White, AFLSA, Pentagon.

-- Steve Swigonski Award for airman paralegal of the year: Tech. Sgt. Kendall L. Cooper, 39th Wing, Incirlik Air Base, Turkey.

-- Karen Yates-Popwell Award for senior noncommissioned officer paralegal of the year: Senior Master Sgt. William M. McGovern, 82nd Training Wing, Sheppard AFB, Texas.

-- David Westbrook Award for ARC paralegal of the year: Tech. Sgt. Tracy L. Warga, 52nd Fighter Wing, Spangdahlem AB, Germany.

-- Harold R. Vague Award for legal services civilian of the year: Marshelle A. Myers, office of the judge advocate general, Pentagon.
