May 30, 2018 | 0:48
00:10-00:20 Maj Jordan Hrupek, 25 Fighter Squadron Director of Operations
U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II pilots from the 25th Fighter Squadron partner with Philippine Air Force FA-50 Fighting Eagle pilots from the 5th Fighter Wing to simulate air-to-air combat, better known as dog fighting, at Clark Air Base, Pampanga, Philippines, May 11, 2018. Two A-10s and two FA-50s took off at Clark Air Base to practice visual and non-visual deconfliction tactics while effectively employing aircraft combat operations systems. Exercise Balikatan, in its 34th iteration, is an annual U.S.-Philippine military training exercise focused on a variety of missions, including humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, counterterrorism, and other combined military operations held from May 7 to May 18.
