Soldiers of the Minnesota National Guard’s 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 194th Armor took part in a cooperative training exercise, known as Aurora 17, with the Swedish Armed Forces Sept. 11-27, 2017. During these exercises throughout Sweden the Company Team of C Company, 1-194AR to include G Company, 134th Brigade Support Battalion trained alongside their Swedish counterparts on tactical scenarios supporting Sweden's goal of conducting a series of exercises based around their national defense. This is the first time in over 20 year that the exercise has taken place to this scale, and the first time American Service-members have been invited to participate.
