U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Europe and Africa

U.S. Marines and Sailors with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit were deployed in support of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa, Marine Forces Europe and Africa, from April to September 2019, out of Moron Air Base, Spain and Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy. SPMAGTF-CR-AF is deployed to conduct crisis-response and theater-security operations in Africa and promote regional stability by conducting military-to-military training exercises throughout Europe and Africa.
