U.S. Soldiers with Alpha Company, 898th Brigade Engineer Battalion, Washington National Guard, experience their last drill weekend together at Yakima Training Center, Yakima, Wash., Jan. 31, 2026. The 898th Brigade Engineer Battalion will be deactivated, leaving soldiers of the unit various options to continue serving in the Washington State National Guard.
