Juan Carlos Castilla, a Spanish colonel and security and defense analyst at the Spanish Institute for Strategic Studies, shares his experience as a participant in the Strategic Competition and Russia course. Reflecting on the broader program, he highlights the value of combining high-level expert insights with collaborative practicum work to develop strategy.
Through resident courses, the Marshall Center is equipping security professionals with the knowledge, perspectives, and tools needed to develop and implement strategies within their own institutions and national contexts.
