Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsmen (SOIDC) with Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) conduct mission rehearsal training at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Dec. 16, 2025. SOIDCs are highly specialized U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman, serving as embedded medical experts for elite special operations forces including MARSOC Raiders and SEALs.
