U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Rhonda C. Martin, assistant chief of Staff Manpower, retires in the presence of Marines, family, and friends at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, Virginia, Sept. 30, 2025. Martin was the longest serving active-duty Marine, spending 42 years in the Marines Corps and commissioning as an officer after 14 years of enlisted service. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Lance Cpl.
