U.S. Army Captain Chris Lacock, B Battery Commander, 6th Battalion, 56th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, describes the innovation his team is undergoing in the gunnery table completion of the SGT STOUT vehicle platform for Maneuver Short Range Air Defense, or M-SHORAD, on Fort Hood, Texas, Oct. 3, 2025. The 1st Cavalry Division is uniquely positioned to maneuver the 6-56 Air Defense Artillery Regiment's SGT STOUT vehicles, providing foundational training on deploying the newest innovation in Air Defense Artillery.
