She discusses how her career field, and her own efforts contribute to the information environment by securing and protecting Beale Air Force Base's servers from breaches or hacks by potential threats and adversaries, while also ensuring communication can occur between base personnel and other members of the U.S. armed forces off base. She also discusses what it means to be an African American woman serving as a cyber Airman, a STEM career field in the U.S. Air Force and the importance of encouraging diversity and inclusion.
