Ospreys, Eagles share airspace at Langley
CUMBERLAND, Ohio -- Two recently relocated osprey from Langley Air Force Base, Va., become acclimated to their new home at a conservation facility here. The 10,000-acre facility is the largest such facility in North America and is home to 200 animals and 24 different species. Eleven osprey were relocated from Langley to a conservation facility in Cumberland, Ohio, to control the population and minimize the risk of potential bird strikes.
