Wilford Hall medics depart for Iraq
Lt. Col. Frank Palmisano goes through deployment paperwork with his wife, Lt. Col. Jane Palmisano outside Wilford Hall with more than 60 other 59th Medical Wing Airmen Jan. 9 as he prepares to depart Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Colonel Palmisano is the 59th Diagnostics and Therapeutics Group administrator and will serve as director of operations at the Balad Air Base hospital in Iraq.
