ROYAL AIR FORCE MIDENHALL, England -- A KC-10 Extender from Travis Air Force Base, Calif., takes off on a mission. The 100th Air Refueling Wing here provides operational support, and the base serves as a transiting point for personnel, aircraft and equipment destined for Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
