Heroes rescue strangers
SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Tech. Sgt. Tim Schodorf was driving with his wife in their neighborhood when he spotted smoke coming from this house. Inside, an elderly woman was having trouble getting out. Schodorf ran in and helped her to safety. He is assigned to the 375th Maintenance Squadron at Scott Air Force Base, Ill.
