LAAGE, Germany -- German Capt. Fred Schmidt, a MiG-29 Fulcrum pilot from the 73rd Fighter Squadron in Laage, Germany, de-briefs U.S. Air Force Maj. Andreas Zube (center) with Capts. Jeff Johnson and Chris Colcord, U.S. F-16 pilots. The U.S. Air Force pilots are deployed to Laage with the 555th Fighter Squadron at Aviano Air Base, Italy. The two teams engaged in air-to-air battle with two of the world's top fighters. The deployment was designed to teach F-16 pilots to fly against Mig-29s. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt.
