Care package
ANDREWS AIR FORCE BASE, Md. -- Chris Turner, age 6, puts books into a plastic bag that will be sent in a care package to his father’s deployed unit, the 113th Aircraft Generation Squadron, D.C. Air National Guard. Master Sgt. Mike Turner and other members of the squadron have been deployed for nearly two months. Families of the D.C. ANG gathered April 12 at Andrews Air Force Base, Md., for a pot-luck dinner, children’s games and a chance to help relieve some of the stress associated with the deployment of a loved one.
