Joint STARS: Deployed maintainers saving lives
Staff Sgt. Justin Wood connects a ground power cable to an E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System immediately after the jet returned from a mission at the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing in Southwest Asia, June 28, 2013. This connection provides ground power so the maintainers can prepare the aircraft for the next mission. Wood is a 7th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Unit electro-environmental specialist deployed from Robins Air Force Base, Ga. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Benjamin Stratton)
