The flag stands at half-staff in honor of Maj. Gen. Joseph Brown IV at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., April 23, 2013. Brown and his wife, Sue S. Brown, were killed April 19 when the Cessna 210 he was piloting crashed in Williamsburg, Va.
