AMC pilot wins at Warrior Games, meets Prince Harry
While boating in 2009, 1st Lt. Ryan McGuire, 4th Airlift Squadron C-17 pilot, suffered an accident that resulted in an amputation of his right leg below the knee. Despite the odds, McGuire was allowed to stay in the Air Force and earn his flying wings. Recently, he earned five medals at the 2012 Warrior Games. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Bennie J.
