Bahrain International Airshow 2012
U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Jacob Pruitt, a C-17 Globemaster III pilot assigned to the 21st Airlift Squadron Travis Air Force Base, Calif., discusses the characteristics of the aircraft at the Bahrain International Airshow 2012 at Shakir Air Base, Bahrain Jan. 19, 2012. This event strengthens partnerships in the region and allows the United States and coalition and partner nations, work together to promote security, stability and mutual interests in the region. The U.S. Air Force showcased a variety of military aircraft through static displays, including the C-17 Globemaster III, C-130H Hercules, and F-15E Strike Eagle. Additionally, a large number of aircrew and support personnel from bases in Southwest Asia, Europe, and the United States were available to answer questions about the aircraft technology and capabilities.
