Water lift
Staff Sgt. Jacob Schaumberg is hoisted onboard an HH-60 Pave Hawk by Master Sgt. John Durbin during a joint field-training exercise Sept. 1, 2011, off the coast of Okinawa. Airmen from two squadrons trained together on water survival; search and rescue; close-air support; and maritime defense and interdiction. Schaumberg is a pararescueman assigned to the 31st Rescue Squadron at Kadena Air Base, Japan, and Durbin is a flight engineer and superintendent assigned to the 33rd Rescue Squadron at Kadena AB.
