Planes over water

AIR FORCE PHOTOS

A C-130 from Pope Air Force Base, N.C., lands recently at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. It was the first U.S. Air Force plane to land at this base since it was recently re-opened. The base, which was closed since 2004, was re-opened by a small group of Airmen and made ready to conduct operations. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Jeffrey Allen)
