C-130 Retires
Col. Mark Czelusta signs his name on a C-130E Hercules after it completed its final flight Nov. 29, 2010, to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base's 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group in Arizona. It's Air Force tradition for the crew who flies an aircraft's final flight to sign the aircraft after landing. The C-130 was retired as part of an Air Force effort to modernize its C-130 fleet with C-130J and C-130H AMP aircraft. Colonel Czelusta is the 314th Airlift Wing commander and was the aircraft commander for the flight. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Joe Knable)
