A Brazilian F-2000 aircraft takes off while maintenance is performed on a Brazilian A-1 aircraft during the Cruzeiro Do Sul (Southern Cross) exercise Nov. 11, 2010, at Natal Air Base, Brazil. CRUZEX is a multinational, combined exercise involving the air forces of Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina and France. Observers from numerous other countries, with more than 60 aircraft also were involved. This was the first time U.S. Air Force was invited to participate. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Senior Master Sgt.
