EC-130H Compass Call

Col. Scott Brewer runs through a pre-flight checklist as he prepares to pilot a U.S. Air Force EC-130H aircraft assigned to the 43rd Expeditionary Electronic Combat Squadron Aug. 29, 2010, in Southwest Asia. The plane's unit, the 43rd Expeditionary Electronic Combat Squadron, has been part of the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing for 6.5 years and is moving to another base in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility because of the responsible drawdown of forces in Iraq. The EC-130H provides U.S. forces with the ability to jam enemy communications. Colonel Brewer is the commander of the 386th Expeditionary Operations Group. (U.S. Air Force photo/Maj. Dale Greer)
