Sea turtles

Kathy Gault and Dusty Varble carry out a cooler filled with sea turtle eggs after removing them from their nest Aug. 2, 2010, on a beach at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The eggs will be transported to the east coast so the turtles can be released without the threat of encountering oil from the spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Ms. Gault and Mr. Varble are both 96th Civil Engineer Squadron biologists. (U.S. Air Force photo/Samuel King Jr.)
