EOD training aids
A submunition is being replicated and detailed July 22, 2010, by the 982nd Maintenance Support Squadron at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, for use at an explosive ordnance disposal training facility. EOD training aids were fabricated with plastic and steel to make them look, weigh and feel like the original item. Details such as working springs, internal pieces, markings and bolts have been added to make training aids as detailed as possible. (U.S. Air Force illustration/Tech. Sgt. Vernon Cunningham)
