"Yellow Bird"

Frank Goepferich attaches the right dual wheel assembly to the undercarriage on "Yellow Bird," a Wright "B" Flyer, at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, Feb, 27, 2010. Volunteers from Wright "B" Flyer Inc. assembled two Flyers in San Antonio for the Centennial of Military Aviation event held March 2. The "Yellow Bird" is the more authentic reproduction featuring a wooden frame, Ford Model-A engine and hand carved propellers while the "Brown Bird" has a metal frame and modern engine.
