Wright "B" Flyers prepare for Centennial
Frank Goepferich attaches the right dual wheel assembly to the undercarriage of "Yellow Bird." He is part of the Wright "B" Flyer Inc. volunteers that came to San Antonio, on Feb, 27, 2010 they assembled the biplane. This Flyer is the most authentic lookalike featuring a wooden frame, Ford Model-A engine and hand carved propellers the "Yellow Bird" is scheduled to taxi on Fort Sam Houston's MacArthur Parade Ground, during the Centennial of Military Aviation on March 2.
