Wright "B" Flyers prepare for Centennial
John Kennedy (left) and Richard Holt (right) work high and low to reattach a horizontal stabilizer cables to a Wright "B" Flyer lookalike on Feb 27, 2010. Wright "B" Flyer Inc. and Texas Air Museum volunteers combined efforts to assemble two Flyers in San Antonio. The "Yellow Bird" the most authentic lookalike of the two. It features a wooden frame, Ford Model-A engine and hand carved propellers was assembled at Fort Sam Houston. The "Yellow Bird" is scheduled to taxi on MacArthur Parade Ground, during the Centennial of Military Aviation on March 2. (U.S. Air Force photo/Lance Cheung)
