Wright "B" Flyers prepare for Centennial
Wright "B" Flyer Inc. crewchief Frank Goepferich fills a Wright "B" Flyer copper fuel tank, on Feb 27, 2010 in preparation for engine test at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas. Wright "B" Flyer Inc. volunteers assembled two Flyers in San Antonio on Feb 27, 2010. The "Yellow Bird" is the most authentic lookalike of the two. It features a wooden frame, Ford Model-A engine and hand carved propellers. The "Yellow Bird" is scheduled to taxi on MacArthur Parade Ground, during the Centennial of Military Aviation on March 2.
