Staff Sgt. Jeremy Lewis gives the "chalks in" signal to Capt. Travis Keenan before de-arming his F-16 Fighting Falcon Jan. 19 at Balad Air Base, Iraq. Communication between crew chiefs and fighter pilots is done via head sets and hand signals.
