Greetings of the season
Capt. Adam Cole, 36th Airlift Squadron pilot, writes a holiday greeting on one of the boxes packed in support of Operation Christmas Drop Dec. 17, 2009, at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. The operation began in 1952 and Airmen today continue the tradition delivering supplies to remote islands Yap, Palau, Chuuk, Pohnpei and the Northern Mariana Islands.
