Mountain Home AFB receives hypoxia simulator

Staff Sgt. Maria Paucar resets the simulator-based hypoxia demonstrator for Lt. Col. Charles Shurlow, aerospace medicine chief for the 366th Aerospace Medicine Squadron, Dec. 16, 2009, at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. This simulator helps familiarize aircrews with hypoxia, an oxygen deficiency that causes impairment at high altitudes. Sergeant Paucar is an aerospace and operational physiology technician.
