Pilot mushes dogs for noble cause

Tahoe, one of the lead dogs of a team of 27 Siberian Huskies, stares curiously into the lens of the camera Jan. 10 in Alaska. Tahoe and his team race raise awareness and funds for disabled children. Maj. Blake Matray, a 168th Air Refueling Wing KC-135 Stratotanker pilot at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, operates the Sled Dog Fund, Inc., which is a non-profit organization that support disabled children and their families and finance clinical research on developmental disabilities, hospital programs, and educational programs.
